Steam and Cold Water Mixing Unit Hose Stations

Strahman's steam and cold water mixing units produce instant hot water with a steam supply. There are two materials of construction for the bodies of our steam and cold water hose stations–bronze and stainless steel. Each body type has our dial temperature gauge (TG) for exact temperature indications. A significant design feature that prevents steam from accidentally exiting the unit is the unit’s ability to automatically shut off the steam supply if the cold-water supply dips below 50 PSI.  

The Strahman M-5000TG Bronze Steam and Cold Water Mixing Unit Hose Station and the Strahman M-5700TG Stainless Steel Steam and Cold Water Mixing Unit produce instant hot water from a steady supply of steam and cold water. The washdown station also features a specially designed blending chamber to thoroughly, evenly mixes the steam and cold water, and comes in three pressures Low, Medium and High. In addition, the M-5000TG Series and the M-5700TG Series have a dial-type gauge that accurately indicates the wash water’s exact temperature. 

The Strahman M-5144TG HE is a high-efficiency steam and cold water mixing station modeled after the standard M-5000TG mixing station. This high-efficiency model is a low-pressure system ideal for industrial wash down where varying water pressures throughout a plant exist and a desire for a broader range of adjustable pressure or where a low flow nozzle is preferred.

The Strahman M-144TG Bronze Safety Mixing Unit will blend steam and cold water in any desired proportion. It is user-adjustable with a factory-set maximum temperature and features a safety shut-off that prevents the passing of live steam. The unit also features a specially designed blending chamber to thoroughly and evenly mix the steam and cold water. The M-144TG Series has a dial-type gauge that accurately indicates the wash water’s exact temperature.

The Strahman M-5000TS is a Thermostatically Controlled Bronze Steam and Cold Water Mixing Unit Hose Station that lets you combine steam and cold water to produce hot water efficiently without the safety concerns usually associated with steam use. The unit has several important safety features allowing for a maximum water temperature of 200°F; it automatically compensates for water pressure fluctuations to maintain the desired water temperature, and the thermostatically designed safety shut-off prevents the unit from overheating.
